E-bikes are expensive and coveted and thus, like all other high-quality bicycles, a popular object of bike thieves.
With the IT'S MY BIKE tracking system for e-bikes, this problem solves itself.
Once installed, you can use an app to locate your e-bike whenever and wherever you want.
The GPS tracker from IT'S MY BIKE can be installed invisibly in the bike and connects your vehicle to the Internet.
The position data is recorded via GPS, and the data is transmitted via the new mobile technology for the Internet of Things NB-IoT.
This so-called LPWAN technology (Low-Power Wide Area Network) offers many advantages. These include, among other things, a higher range and
building penetration than alternative mobile radio standards such as GSM, 3G or LTE while consuming less energy.
As a result, the service life of the built-in battery is considerably longer.
With the purchase of IT'S MY BIKE Tracker you get 3 years of connectivity, software version 1.1.Connectivity in the following countries: Switzerland, Austria, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, France, Denmark and Belgium.A total of four services are currently available in the IT'S MY BIKE app.
The theft protection (eProtect) provides support in the event of theft directly via the app when reporting it to the police. The e-bike owner can view the location of his bike on a map. In addition, the IT'S MY BIKE team coordinates between the police and the stolen. The recovery rate is currently 80 percent.
In addition to the theft protection, the service also includes an optional digital emergency assistant. This premium service is offered by IT'S MY BIKE together with the companion app WayGuard from Axa. The emergency assistant (eCall) triggers an alarm in the event of a fall or accident. The WayGuard control center is available around the clock and alerts the nearest emergency services in the event of an emergency. The WayGuard service is available in Germany and can be optionally added for a fee and can be canceled on a monthly basis.
Users also have the option of taking out suitable insurance packages (eSurance) directly in the app. The specially developed e-bike insurance with GPS protection from partner ALTEOS covers numerous risks, including theft, vandalism, battery wear and accident damage.
Finally, ride statistics (eRide) make it possible to call up the ride distance and duration as well as the average speed. E-biker riders can also use average values to calculate how much CO2 they save compared to a car.
Mounting instructions:
To prevent the GPS signal from being shielded by the frame, the tracker should be installed with the sticker facing outwards. The GPS antenna is located under the sticker. Ideally, the tracker should be mounted under a plastic cover. Housings made of aluminium, steel and metal alloys can interfere with the connection to the GPS signal.
Activation:
The tracker is activated by the customer. If the tracker is connected to the continuous current for at least 30 minutes, please scan the QR code of the product in the app.The tracker reacts and should register in the system.
